Wants For Sale is a brilliant idea by an artist couple in New York City. Christine and Justin paint things that they would like to own or experience and then sell the paintings for the actual selling price of the product. They then use that money to buy what they had painted. Below you can see that they wanted another Guitar Hero controller, so they painted one and turned it into the real thing. Currently, the couple would like to go to Vegas.

I like this idea too, I always thought the Noel Edmonds idea of sending away wishes to the universe was a little bit lazy. This is a good concept that really makes my head spin. I wonder if the buyers of the paintings are ever tempted to trade it in and get the real thing? Or are they planning on cashing it in when art prices go up and get themselves two real life guitar hero controllers? I will be keen to see the Vegas painting.
